Your break-even point

Break-even confirmation rate

Break-even delivery rate

  • Net profit per lead at current rates
  • Net profit per 100 leads at current rates

These are two independent break-even views: the confirmation-rate result holds your delivery rate fixed, and the delivery-rate result holds your confirmation rate fixed. CPL and courier fees are treated as given — to solve for the maximum CPL you can afford instead, use the COD Profit Calculator.

Below your break-even rate? CODSPOT's WhatsApp confirmations and address verification raise confirmation and delivery rates before they drain your ad spend.

Why break-even rate matters more than gross sales

Confirmation rate and delivery rate are two different levers, controlled by two different parts of your operation, and most sellers only ever look at their combined effect on profit — never at the actual line each one needs to clear:

  • Confirmation and delivery rate are not the same lever — Confirmation rate depends on your call center or WhatsApp follow-up; delivery rate depends on address quality and courier performance. Fixing the wrong one wastes effort.
  • Most sellers don't know their actual break-even point — They know if last month was profitable, but not the minimum rate that keeps the next campaign from losing money.
  • A few points below break-even silently drains a whole campaign — Every lead below the line loses money the same way, and it rarely shows up until you add up a full month of ad spend.

Understanding your calculation metrics

  • Break-even confirmation rate — The minimum share of leads you must confirm, at your current delivery rate, before this product stops losing money.
  • Break-even delivery rate — The minimum share of confirmed orders that must actually get delivered, at your current confirmation rate, before this product stops losing money.
  • Gap to break-even — How many percentage points of buffer you have above break-even, or how far below it you currently are.

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from the COD Profit Calculator?

The Profit Calculator takes your confirmation rate and delivery rate as known inputs and tells you your net profit and the maximum CPL you can afford. This tool does the opposite: it takes your CPL and fees as fixed and tells you the confirmation or delivery rate you need to hit to stop losing money.

What if my current rates are already above break-even?

Then you have a buffer — the gap shown next to each result is how many percentage points your current rate can drop before the product stops being profitable.

What does it mean if break-even isn't achievable?

It means your selling price, product cost, CPL and courier fees don't leave enough margin to break even at any confirmation or delivery rate — even a perfect 100% rate would still lose money. Raise your price, lower your product cost or CPL, or negotiate courier fees before scaling this product.

How do I raise my confirmation or delivery rate in Morocco?

Confirmation rate responds to fast WhatsApp or call confirmations before the lead goes cold. Delivery rate responds to verifying the address up front and using clear, professional shipping labels so livreurs can find the customer on the first attempt.
